Landscapers attempt at low voltage lighting.
buck boost

melted wiring

This is what happens a few days after a landscaper attempts to install landscape lighting!!!

We had to repair this mess after a homeowner got fed up with this landscapers attempt to install this lighting and transformer. As you can see in the photo, the wires finally melted and burnt up! They spliced the wires together and crimped a stake-on on the end, then they used a flat 30A fuse and plugged it to the stake-on, of course the fuse held but the wires couldn't! We found about 20-30 splices on the LV wires thruout the landscaping. The homeowner was wondering why his lights were yellowish and almost not lit at all compared to his neighbors which were nice and bright.
